| Duane Ferguson was raised somewhere in Ontario, Canada by his mother Anita Ferguson, his father having disappeared when he was seven years old. They believed for a long time that he had disappeared during a boating accident but after awhile, when no body appeared, Duane began to wonder if his father was really dead. When he was seventeen years old, he had a strange experience where he was approached by two different men, one who seemed to appear out of thin air next to him, and after that he couldn't remember the two days where he disappeared but was returned to his mother's doorstep with strange markings on his neck. That was about the time that his ability to started to show. Shortly after he turned eighteen and graduated, Duane left his home and headed into the States which was made easier by his mother's dual citizenship which extended to him easily. He moved around till his mid-twenties where he finally settled in New York, taking odd jobs here and there. Not much is known about him by his neighbors and the people that he interacts with, he doesn't talk much about his time between being eighteen and when he arrived in New York. Also, the topic of his father seems to be a touchy one. Currently he is working as a firefighter in New York. |

| Air and wind manipulation: Ability to control, generate, or absorb air or wind. Duane can basically control the wind around him or even create wind when the air seems absolutely still. His control varies from creating a gentle breeze to a violent wind storm. Secretly he is working on being able to suck the air out of a room as well, as in creating a vacuum. |
